We have been using Union Roofing since 1999. Over the past 3+ years Joe has been coming out to our home. He provides trustworthy estimates and more importantly he ensures that we are happy with the work. The team recently completed some work and it seemed to be that the rain water was now falling behind the gutter and against the house. Joe was there the next day. The next rain came and it seemed that the repair was still not quite right. Joe was back the next day and resolved the issue.
Recently we purchased a new home. The home inspector was not able to gain roof access. We wanted someone we know and trust to evaluate the roof. Of course we called Union and asked for Joe. Joe made time to see the new home, he took photos and provided an estimate all within 24 hours of our call.
We will continue to use Union Roofing in our new home, and will of course recommend Union Roofing to the buyers of our current home.

We had a leak in our roof the day before Thanksgiving. That following Monday we called Union Roofing and he came out within 2 hours and had already inspected our roof. He gave us 3 options that were all reasonable prices. We have a flat roof and he recommened the best bet for our home. We decided to go with the best option. He offered various options from trying to isolate the problem to replacing the siding on the front of the house. I acquired Union Roofing services in February 2012, the staff was professional and courteous when replacing the roof on my home and a new skylight was installed in the bathroom.
In fact, I was so happy with the service I recently emailed Amber, Frank Jr., Administrator Assistant to inquire about getting a quote for the patio roof replaced, this part of the roof was not replaced in February 2012 and it appears from this past Hurricane Sandy, it has to be serviced. I thought it was the roof but it was actually the brick pointing that needs repair. He caulked up around the area that had needed pointing to help stop the water from coming in. The dumpster arrived on a Friday. Two crews started work at 7:00 AM on Saturday. By 1:00 PM, they were completely done. They had completely removed the old roof and added the new one, including great flashing around the chimney plus aluminum seal where the roof meets my house.They did a beautiful professional job.

When it comes to getting a new roof it can be overwhelming. Do you go by just the cost or do you go by workmanship or both. I researched what questions to ask regarding types of material to be used, is the company licensed and insured etc, I also wanted good shingles and a 30 yr warranty. The first roofer that came to my house did not provide all the answers for me. The second roofer was union roofing. My husband and I spoke to Frank. Frank was able to answer all my questions. His team that worked on my house were outstanding. They put in two long days of work under the hot sun. The completed work is beautiful. I had Union Roofing come out and check on a leak that should have been fixed years ago. They first came out and recoated it but apparently the person that did the job before them hadn’t don’t the job correctly and it leaked again the very next day. I called Union Roofing back and they came out and unfortunately had to pull up part of the roof but they were able to find the problem and fixed it. I called three roofers for estimates. Union gave me the best price. I was given a thorough explanation of the work to be done.They were professional, courteous and did the work without delay. Upon completion of the job, my property was cleared of all debris. The contractor pointed out some additional work that needed attention. I was not pressured to have this work done immediately. However, he made some suggestions and offered an incentive for a future job if I selected Union to do the job. Union will be at the top of the list.

I first used Union Roofing 6 years ago after reading great reviews from other customers. I was purchasing a home in the greater northeast Philadelphia area and needed a new roof put on prior to closing. Having never had a home with a flat roof, I was in unfamiliar territory. The folks at Union were great start to finish, walking me through the process. They made me feel confident in their workmanship. Everything was done correctly and on time. The cost was comparable to other verbal estimates I had received. The guys were professional and very personable. They’ve since been back out to maintain the roof with the necessary 3yr. coating and most recently to inspect what I thought was a leak coming from the roof. Because mold was a concern they squeezed me in the day after my call! Which I appreciated! They checked it out and even invited us up to take a look ourselves! It ended up not being the roof but rather the pointing on the house. They were able to refer me to a contractor who could fix it and even suggested some other options (non-roof related) we might want to consider. I has a new bay window installed by a local and well know Window Company. The very next thundershower, it was raining in my living room. Called the Window Company who came out and said – “Must be your roof”. End of their help and concern. I called Union Roofing and Frankie came out immediately and inspected my roof and told me that the roof was fine but he thought it was the flashing and caulking on the new window. I hired them to caulk all seams on the roof and the around the new window. I also decided to have them do new siding on the front of the house since it was time. Gave me an estimate which I accepted The work was done professionally without a bit of scrap left behind. Have not had a drop of water in or around the window since. Frankie even stopped by to make sure all was well after a bit of time. I love the work ethics of the workers in this company.
